Description Review incoming Tickets to diagnose problems, gather additional information, identify solutions, and assign to other IT resources as applicable. Troubleshoot problems both in-person and through remote assst software for remote sites. Install new equipment. Setup, manage, and maintain IT related equipment. Provide end user support for computer hardware, software, peripherals, and printers. Install cabling throughout company buildings or offices as needed. Enter and/or delete a wide variety of data to maintain updated and current databases. Assist with system backups, server management, and infrastructure projects as needed. May assist in training staff with IT related equipment. Needs to posses a broad technical knowledge base.    Must have: Bachelors Degree and 0 - 3 years related experience in the IT / IS field of study or Associates Degree and 5 years experince in lieu of Bachelors Degree. Functional knowledge of directory services, Network hardware and software (e.g.Juniper, Cisco) applications, operating systems (e.g. UNIX, Microsoft), voice and data switching systems (e.g.Nortel, Redcom, etc) telecommunications devices, Office applications, PC maintenance and repair. A strong desire and capability to learn, maintaining positive and constructive attitude. Must possess excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
