High School Diploma. Full command (verbal and written) of the English language, sufficient to carry out the duties identified in this job description. Knowledge of therapeutic positioning techniques preferred.
Basic Life Support Certification.

Previous transportation experience.

The OR/Anesthesia Logistics Tech, under the direction of a licensed care giver, and after education and demonstration of competency, performs a variety of direct/indirect patient care or task specific to the unit / needs of the patient population in the preoperative environment.
The OR/Anesthesia Logistics Technician is primarily accountable for transporting supplies and equipment interdepartmentally and patients with diverse cultural backgrounds in all age groups.
He/she identifies safety concerns in the age related population; institutes additional protective measures to provide a safe environment; and identifies normal growth and developmental milestones in neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults and geriatric patients.
Note: All External Hires must successfully pass a background check, a prohibited substance screening, and a pre-employment physical.
