Web Test Engineer
Description
The Web Test Engineer will build and maintain test scripts, be involved early in the software development process to identify potential issues, verify deliverables work correctly and securely on all identified browsers and platforms, and run automated tests against requirements
Qualifications
- Develop and execute functional, smoke, system integration, and regression test cases
- Plan, automate, and execute test cases for desktop, mobile, and touch targeted web applications
- Write detailed test cases that ensure the correct level of test coverage for the application being validated
- Write and maintain test scripts
- Participate in the identification and implementation of continuous improvement opportunities in processes, standards, and procedures in test automation and functional testing
- Conduct testing to assure that deliverables meet design specifications and business requirements
- Develop testing strategies and execute tests on a daily basis on various platforms
- Work closely with back-end and front-end developers
