Description: To give DB management for multiple grant funded research programs. Provide data analysis for publications and inter departmental projects. Also expected to perform Information Technology consulting for the Department of Healthcare Policy and Research.
Qualification: Working experience of health services research, program evaluation, and other outcomes-oriented research methods. Excellent knowledge and skills with DB management and analysis, statistical analysis, and software, such as but not limited to: SAS, SAS macro, STATA, FoxPro, and SQL. Must be skilled in writing DB and statistical programs for analytic purposes. Must have good knowledge in working with multiple data sources, linkage of claims data to primary data, and in preparation of administrative data for statistical analysis. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, collaborative job experience and ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks. Prefer a Master's degree in statistics, public health, health evaluation, social science or related field. Prefer some years of experience with data analysis of large administrative data sets. Ability to work in a diverse environment is required.
