Job Description
Duties & Responsibilities:
-Learn about existing
Hitachi's products and technologies for T&D business. This may
include meeting / training with business divisions, both domesitic and
overseas.
-Perform power system analysis to identify utilities challenges, proposing solutions with knowledge of technology trends.
-Propose and conduct
research in identified technical area to develop a solution thereby
supporting business development growth for Hitachi.
Successful Candidate:
Good research oriented
technical skills, planning skills for collaborative contribution and
comprehension of Hitachi's global T&D business and research network.
Analytical and liogical thinking must be carried out throughout the
research process.
-Good domain knowledge of
Indian Power Systems spanning generation, transmission and
distribution including protection systems is mandatory.
-Your viewpoints on technological needs and wants is expected.
-Also the candidate must
possess a broad understanding of the research environment including
essence of Intellectual property etc.
Essential:
-Masters degree in Electrical Power Systems or equivalent faculties.
-Atleast 3 years full time work experience Research / Design and development in the area of Power System Analysis.
-Atleast 1 year hands on experience in PSS/E (MiPower, ETAP exposure is also desirable.
-Good communication,
cross cultural skills and presentation skills are needed for
collaboration with business groups and global network of Hitachi
R&D.
-Good reporting skills, presentation and documentation.
